Taking advice on board
The alpha review provided us a lot of relevant feedback. In terms of bugs, it had quite a number (which since then have mostly been weeded out). In terms of graphics, we didn't have a lot to show off due to recent developments in the art department that caused all the environment art to be lost to the fires of what can only be described as virus hell.
Examples of the critique include "Hey, you should make the doorway clearer for traversal" and "Hey, you should make sure to add some controller hints of some kind".
Luckily, none of the reviewers playing the game ran into the bug that caused players to get irreversibly stuck until you ALT+F4 the game.
Since then development has been slow; still waitin' on art assets from a few members of the team and the other programmer isn't exactly taking initiative on the programming front.
Regardless, by the beta milestone we'll have a pretty cool experience to show off to people.
Can't wait. ;D
